Fort St. John volleyball player heading to compete at BC Summer Games

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Daelyn Jeffers will be representing Fort St John at the B.C. summer games in Girls Indoor Volleyball this week.

Jeffers has been playing with the F.S.J. Ice Volleyball team for the past two years, in addition to playing for the Bert Bowes Middle School team. Jeffers has also been working on improving her game at several volleyball camps this summer, including a recent local camp taught by Dana Cranston.

Cranston is a current member of the Canadian Olympic Volleyball team, and she also had her volleyball career start in the Energetic City. The BC Summer Games begin tomorrow, and run until Sunday in Abbotsford.
