Dawson Creek searching for suspect after break and enter

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Dawson Creek RCMP are searching for a suspect after a break and enter on 115 avenue.

Police say at around 12:36 a.m. July 9, 2016, a suspect cut the gate lock at 301 115 avenue and entered the property.  The property video surveillance system captured the suspect on camera.

On the surveillance video at approximately 1:02 a.m., the suspect is seen backing a suspected stolen white Ford F-250 long box pick-up into the compound.

The suspect appears to be wearing gloves, a BB cap, and a dark colored long sleeve sweat shirt with a large distinctive pattern on the front of it. The suspect may have a face covering or has a couple weeks growth of a full beard.

It is believed the suspected thief made off with a Honda 3000 generator (estimate value of $2300) and 5 jerry cans.
