City begins tender process for sidewalk and lighting upgrades

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John is beginning the tender process for sidewalks and street lighting improvements.

The following areas are slated for upgrades on sidewalks and lighting:

  •         107A Avenue and a portion of 90 street by Doctor Kearney is slated for sidewalk and streetlight upgrades.
  •          96 Avenue between 86 Street and the Parking lot for Toboggan Hill is slated for sidewalk and streetlight upgrades.

     

  •        84 Street and 83 Street North off of 86 Avenue are slated for sidewalks to complete the network in that neighbourhood.

The City has set a time and date for those interested to submit applications.

“Sealed Tenders clearly marked CITY OF FORT ST. JOHN – 2016 SIDEWALKS AND STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS will be received at the main reception desk of City Hall no later than 2:00 pm, local time, Thursday, July 28, 2016.”

The budget for the projects is $430,000.
