FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – One man is dead following a motorcycle crash near Charlie Lake last night.

According to Cpl. Dirk Finkensiep with the Fort St. John RCMP, the collision happened on Tuesday evening at approximately 10:00 p.m. and involved a lone motorcyclist who was pronounced deceased. His name has not been released.

Finkensiep says that the crash occurred in the vicinity of the Jackfish Frontage Road intersection with the Alaska Highway, although he wasn’t able to confirm the exact location. He added that investigators were at the scene for some time, although he was not able to provide any details on what caused the accident.
