Prince George, B.C. – Catching Pokemon playing Pokemon Go! is legal, as long as you don’t break the law doing it, but someone decided trying to take Pokemon items might be the next best thing.
On July 12th, Prince George RCMP responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in the Parkwood Mall.
A suspect allegedly stole $600 dollars in Pokemon merchandise from a store, and was confronted by security. The suspect then fled on foot and all the Pokemon merchandise was recovered.
Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect. He is described as:
- First Nations Male
- Mid 20’s
- Medium Build
- Wearing a camouflage t-shirt and a dark ball cap
