TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – Tumbler Ridge RCMP are investigating a complaint of damage to a property and an attempted theft along Highway 29 Sunday night.

The property damage and possible left happened at a place near Tumbler Ridge off of Highway 29 at around 9 p.m. July 3.

The Tumbler Ridge RCMP are trying to locate anyone that may have stopped to pick up a young mother and her two young children, a 4 year-old and a toddler, around the area by the rail substation on Highway 29 just past the Murray boat launch.

If you saw the woman and or her children, or if you picked them up from the side of the highway, please contact the Tumbler Ridge RCMP at 250-242-5252. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
