FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – PacificSport Northern BC is bringing the Bo Hedges Wheelchair Basketball Challenge to North Peace Secondary next week.

The event is named after Wonowon native Robert ‘Bo’ Hedges, co-captain of the Canadian national wheelchair basketball team that won a gold medal at the 2012 Paralympics in London.  PacificSport is hosting the challenge, which is taking place at North Peace Secondary on June 14th from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. to raise awareness for accessibility and wheelchair sports in the Fort St. John area. The event is free to register for, and is open to anyone that wants to bring in a team of five to six players.
