Fort St. John Minor Lacrosse Wraps Up Regular Season

MACKENZIE, B.C. – Four teams from Fort St. John Minor Lacrosse were in Mackenzie this past weekend to play their final games of the regular season.

Things sadly didn’t go phenomenally well for the teams, although most of the games were incredibly close contests.

The FSJ Novice team played a pair of games against the combined Vanderhoof/Mackenzie team, losing the first game 13-9, and the second game by 10-8.

The Peewee team went one-and-one this past weekend, winning their first game against the combined Van/Mac Peewees 11-5, before dropping 10-7 in the second game of the weekend.

The combined FSJ/Mackenzie Bantam squad played against an incredibly tough Vanderhoof team, going 0-for-2 this weekend.

The Midgets fared a bit better against Vanderhoof, winning their first tilt 10-7, and losing game 2 of the weekend 6-1.

The teams will be taking a break this coming weekend, before playoffs take place over the final weekend in June.
