Correction from an earlier version of the story: The Fire Department responded to the fire at around 7:00 this morning, when they received the call, and not at 7:45. The fire had been largely extinguished by 7:45.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Fire Department, as well as members from the RCMP and BC Ambulance Service were called out to an apartment fire on Friday morning.
The Fire Department responded just after the call came in at 7:00 AM from the building, which is located in the 9100 block of 93a St., one block south of the Fire Hall. Three fire trucks, including a ladder truck that were at the scene appeared to have extinguished the fire, which was located in a fourth-story unit by 7:45 AM.
No word yet on the amount of damage that was sustained to building, or the cause of the fire.
