Environment Canada ends Rainfall Warnings in the Peace

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Rainfall warnings in effect in the BC South Peace and Fort Nelson areas have been rescinded.

The news of the rainfall warning ending is sure to be welcomed by crews who are currently attempting to contain flooding in Dawson Creek and Chetwynd after nearly 100 mm of rain fell across the region since Tuesday.

A rainfall warning is still in effect for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview area.
