FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The city is offering free Emergency Social Services volunteer training to those who are interested.

There are 2 sessions that will take place. One is on June 4th, while the other is June 18th.

Registration and Referrals: Classroom Delivery
Date: June 4, 2016
Location: Pomeroy Sport Centre
Time: 10am -4pm (Lunch provided)
Cost: Free (Manual Provided)

Intro to ESS and Incident Command System: Classroom Delivery
Date: June 18, 2016
Location: Pomeroy Sport Centre
Time: 10am -4pm (Lunch provided)
Cost: Free
RSVP: recreation@fortstjohn.ca by June 15: 4:00pm (space is limited)

These training sessions are helpful so you can volunteer when a emergency does occur. The most recent emergency was the wildfire evacuations in the Fort St. John area.
