350 students graduate from North Peace Secondary School

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – One of the largest graduating classes in recent memory will graduate from North Peace Secondary School today.

350 students will cross the stage to receive a diploma at the North Peace Arena in Fort St. John.

NPSS principal Randy Pauls says the class is a special group.

“They are a great group of young adults.  They will go on to be welders, carpenters, doctors, lawyers, environmental engineers, mothers, fathers and good citizens. They are as nice a group as we have ever had.”

Pauls also says the school year has been a huge success due to parents, the community, and local businesses that give opportunities to the students throughout the school year.

“It has been a great year at NPSS!  Time seem to fly by so quickly!  It takes a whole community to educate a child so we are ever grateful to the parents of our students who come along side the teachers, and together work tirelessly to see that the kids do well. We are grateful to all our community businesses and partners that provide so many opportunities for our students.  This school truly belongs to all the communities that make up our surrounding area.”
