FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Over a dozen For Sale signs belonging to local realtors turned up at the entrance to the Fish Creek trails this morning.
A photo posted on the Energeticcity.ca Facebook page shortly after 5:30 AM on Thursday shows roughly 18 of the placards erected near the trail entrance signs. According to local realtor Trevor Bolin, this isn’t the first such incident that he’s heard of. Bolin says that his signs have been stolen from his client’s properties in the past, usually either finding their way to properties that aren’t for sale, or discarded of in other locations.
Riley Cazes with Fort St. John Grounds and Facilities says that city staff were not aware of the incident as of 9:00 this morning, but will be arranging for the signs to be taken care of.
