FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St John RCMP are investigating after several Kelt Explorations sites in the Inga Lake area were damaged.

The police investigation has revealed that the damage took place on June 12th at around 11:00 PM. A photo was taken of a two toned white and beige four-door pickup truck that was seen in the area at the time. Police would like to speak to the driver and/or passenger(s) of the truck as they may have information regarding the incident.

The incident is the third such incident of damage inflicted to Kelt Exploration sites in the Inga Lake area since January of this year. Cst. Nancy Saggar with the Fort St. John RCMP says that “Damage to Kelt Exploration’s critical infrastructure has the potential to cause harm to the environment and the public frequenting the area.”

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the driver of the vehicle and/or suspect(s) in the case are asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100. If you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
