DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – B.C. Hydro is reporting over 3,500 customers are without power in the South Peace and Dawson Creek.
The largest outages in are in Dawson Creek that has suffered the most damage from recent rain. There are 3,200 customers without power in Dawson Creek, Pouce Coupe and Tomslake. The other outages have also affected customers near Chetwynd and along Highway 97 between Dawson Creek and Chetwynd.
B.C. Hydro has crews have been dispatched to repair the outages, but there is no estimate on when power will be restored.
