FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for the Peace River Region.
Heavy rain is on the way for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
“Rain will develop over the Peace River region on Tuesday morning as an upper low moves over the area. Rain will intensify on Tuesday afternoon and continue Wednesday as the upper low stalls over northwestern Alberta.
Current model estimates are showing rainfall totals of between 60 to 80 mm by Wednesday evening.
Environment Canada meteorologists are closely monitoring the situation and will issue updates as necessary.”
