FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — On Tuesday, high school students got the chance to listen to the Executive Director of Resource Works speak about the future of the resource industry, and its ties to their home.
Stewart Muir was at North Peace Secondary School in the afternoon, speaking with other groups in other places during his trip to the Peace region. He told the students in Sarah Huggins’ science class he was curious to hear from them about what they want to do and where they want their careers to take them.
Some students wanted to get into the natural resource market and stay in Fort St. John. Others were keen on travelling, and settling in other places.
He also spoke to local residents, and residents all across B.C., at the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting, FSJ for LNG’s event, and at the Mayor’s Caucus earlier this week.
