RCMP investigating a robbery at the Winks Convenience Store

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP are investigating an alleged robbery at the Winks Convenience store Monday afternoon.

According to a release, the RCMP responded to a call at approximately 3:30 p.m. to the store at the corner of 100 ave and 106 street in Fort St. John.  The RCMP say a lone male entered the store with his face covered and brandishing a knife.

No one was injured and the male left the building with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male is described as caucasian, in his twenties and about 5’8” with a thin build.

The RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.  The RCMP also believe a customer saw the suspect leave in a vehicle and they are asking that person to come forward.
