Police incident in Mathews Park

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP have arrested at least two people in the Mathews Park area after an incident earlier this evening.

There are very few details available at this time as we wait for more information from the RCMP.  At around 6:30 p.m., the RCMP were spotted near 87 avenue and 89 street.  A photo on social media showed the RCMP had surrounded a motorhome with guns drawn.

Then two people were arrested in a takedown on on 87 street near 87 avenue.  Two people were removed from a vehicle in that incident.
