North Peace Gymnasts Enjoy Success At Prince George Invitational

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Members of the North Peace Gymnastics Association were in Prince George last weekend.

The group of 12 gymnasts and three coaches enjoyed great success over the weekend. Each of the competitors were judged in four disciplines: Vault, Beam, Floor, and Bars

In the youngest Jr. Olympic 1 category, Grabielle Gauvin and Madden Mize took first and second spots in the field of 8 gymnasts.

Grace MacDonald, Katie Yates, and Brynn Adam took first, third, and sixth place respective in the 12-gymnast Jr, Olympic 2 (06-08) class.

Jolea Baumie placed third in the Jr. Olympic 1 (04-07) class.

The Session 4 category, which featured the largest number of competitors, was won by Amelia Gauvin.

Lastly, Kalyhea Lock and Ava Clarance also performed incredibly well in the Jr. Oympic 2 (99-05) class, placing eighth and tenth.
