Message To Illegal Drug Dealers: Would You Like A Date With A Judge?

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Dawson Creek RCMP are warning the public about the number of drug overdoses that have been occurring, allegedly from Fentanyl.

Over the last year, police in Dawson Creek have responded to 19 drug overdoses. Most of which came from Fentanyl. 10 of the incidents happened from February to the current date, with one of them being deadly.

8 recent victims of overdoses have been saved by paramedics and emergency crews. Dawson Creek RCMP say “this is a significant and concerning increase for police and other first responders who attend these investigations.”

They also want to warn you: if you are involved with the selling of illegal drugs, which cause death to the person using them, you can be held criminally responsible.
