FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The group just left on Monday, but they are already making noise in many cities across Canada.

The group, FSJ for LNG, has made numerous stops in many different cities, grabbing the attention of local politicians as well as local media.

First, the group met up with the 4th member of the LNG or bust crew, Jason Dubrule, in Grand Prairie.

Then it was off to Edmonton where they met with Oil Respect.ca and were greeted and supported. They also made a stop at the Alberta Legislature buildings.

Next stop was Calgary City Hall where the biggest rally has taken place according to group founder Alan Yu.

The next stop was Regina and Medicine Hat. There they also met at City Hall in Medicine Hat.

In Saskatchewan, they met NDP MLA David Forbes outside Saskatchewan’s Legislative Building. They also met with  MLA’s Jeremy Harrison, Steven Bonk, and Warren Kaeding.

The group is in Winnipeg today and were at the Manitoba legislative Building. They also had a chance to meet Premier Brian Pallister and Ron Schuler, Minister of Crown Services.

Alan Yu posted this update on Facebook today:

“Met Premier Brian Pallister and Ron Schuler, Minister of Crown Services at the Cafeteria of the Manitoba Legislative Building. We had a chance to talk briefly about FSJ and he told me that he will soon have a meeting with the premier of Ontario where he will ask about their efforts to stay away from Natural Gas. He is quite aware of how clean burning natural gas is.”

According to Jess Elizabeth, who wrote in the group’s Facebook page, they are hoping to make some noise at the Liberal Convention:

“WE NEED YOU! Who can join us in Winnipeg on Saturday morning to make a splash at the Liberal convention? We want you and your vehicles to join us 10 AM at the MTS Iceplex (3969 Portage Ave) from which we’ll head downtown to the Winnipeg Convention Centre (375 York Ave) for 11 AM.

If you can’t make it to Winnipeg, please share this message with your social media networks and colleagues. LET’S MAKE THIS THE BIGGEST STOP OF THE TOUR!”
