Evacuation order lifted for Beatton Airport fire

This map shows the two areas that are now under an evacuation alert. All evacuation orders have been lifted.

UPDATE:  The evacuation order for the Beatton Airport Road fire has been lifted.  Residents can now return home.  That area is now under an evacuation alert, meaning residents can go home, but need to be prepared to leave if the fire situation changes.  The evacuation alert for Charlie Lake, Rose Prairie and Montney has also been lifted.

FORT ST JOHN, BC – The Peace River Regional District has lifted the Evacuation Order for the Beatton Airport Road fire.

Residents can now return home.  The area is now under an evacuation alert   Residents should be prepared to leave again if the fire situation changes.

The evacuation alert for Charlie Lake, Montney and Rose Prairie has also been lifted.
