Crash At Alaska Highway at 108th Closes Northbound Lanes

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A motor vehicle accident has closed at least one northbound lane of the Alaska Highway in Fort St. John this afternoon.

The crash happened shortly before 1:30 P.M. in the middle of the intersection and appears to have involved two vehicles: a newer model Ford pickup truck, and an older model Ford minivan. Police and fire crews are currently on the scene along with several tow trucks, and have at least one lane of the Alaska Highway closed, along with 108th St. northbound north of the intersection. No word of any injuries, or when the roads will reopen.
