FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Organisers of an event being put on to help raise money to construct a permanent shelter at Peace Island Park say that there aren’t many tickets left.
The fundraiser, in the form of a concert featuring Aaron Pritchett at the Lido Theatre, is going towards the contruction of a permanent pavilion at the park to host events year-round. Organiser Clay Neumeyer says that as of early on Friday afternoon, the concert was not completely sold out, but that the number of available tickets left was small. Neumeyer is a member of the Project Management Class at UNBC that is currently spearheading the fundraising effort.
Doors open at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th with the show starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $70 for general admission, $75 for reserved seating, and $80 at the door. To get tickets in advance, call the Lido Box Office at (250) 785-3011
