FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The newly-renamed Peace Region Motorsports Association held the first autocross event of the season in Fort St. John over the weekend.
The PRMA, which was formed over 10 years ago and until recently was named the North Peace Sports Car Club, featured over a dozen drivers in their 2nd autocross event of the year at the Home Hardware parking lot on Sunday.
The Association puts on events throughout the summer, which are open to the public, although participants pay admission to cover facilities rental and insurance. Anyone with an MOT-approved helmet, driver’s license, and a vehicle that passes a mechanical inspection is welcome to participate in the group’s events.
The group’s next event is scheduled for next weekend, when they head to Quesnel for an autocross meet at the Cariboo Raceway Park.
