DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Nearly 1,400 customers are currently without power in the Dawson Creek area this morning.

The first of the outages began this morning at around 3:15 A.M., with the majority occurring after 9:00. Crews are currently attending to the various outages which range from the Tomslake area to north of Rolla. So far, the cause according to the BC Hydro website appears to be the snow which has fallen across the region.
