UPDATE: BC Hydro has confirmed that power is back for all the homes that experienced an outage in Charlie Lake. However, power remains out for other residents near Mile 72.

CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — 169 customers are without power in Charlie Lake, where the power has been out since 12:08 p.m. on Friday.

BC Hydro estimates the power will come back on around 1:30 p.m. According to the utility’s online power outage source, a tree fell on the wires.

Customers affected are east of Jackpine road, north of Hilltop Drive, west of Paradise Lane, and south of Charlie Lake Crescent.
