FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — What used to be a grocery store on 93 Avenue will soon be a brand-new gym.

GoodLife Fitness is looking to open up a new location in Fort St. John early next year. The company’s website indicates that a new location will be coming to the Energetic City in 2017.

This will be their twelfth gym in B.C., and the one that is the furthest north in all of Canada.

While the company says the amenities aren’t concrete and could change before opening, right now, the co-ed facility is projected to have personal training, a free-weight area, group cycling and fitness, a sauna, massage chairs, and other services.

GoodLife Fitness also offers a wide range of classes, including hot yoga, strength and toning, and cycling classes.

Across Canada, the company has more than 365 locations.
