UPDATE: The wildfire is currently estimated at 7035 hectares in size. The change in the estimated size has occurred because of more accurate mapping of the affected area. Despite inclement weather, the Rank 1 fire has been creeping through areas of dense ground fuels and burning areas which were previously missed because of wind direction and fuel concentration.
