CIS Football: Theo Deezar throws three TDs as No. 6 Bisons down Rams

WINNIPEG — Theo Deezar threw for 413 yards and three touchdowns as the No. 6 Manitoba Bisons downed the Regina Rams 34-19 on Friday night in Canadian Interuniversity Sport football action.

Deezar completed 21-of-33 passes in the victory for the Bisons (3-2). Alex Vitt caught six passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns while Jamel Lyles ran for 128 yards on 15 carries.

Ryan Jones kicked field goals from 25 and 35 yards and converted all four extra points.

Noah Picton completed 35-of-49 passes for 456 yards for a touchdown and an interception for Regina (0-5).


TORONTO — Rahul Madan caught both of Simon Nassar’s touchdown passes as the Varsity Blues (2-3) routed York (1-5) in the Red/Blue Bowl game.
