Dana Cranston and her teammates on the Canadian women’s volleyball team began the NORCECA Continental Championship on a positive note yesterday with a win over Cuba. Canada won the game 3-2 by scores of 25-22, 18-25, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12.
Cranston had herself a solid game as she was the second leading scorer on the team with 15 points.
The team has a tall task in front of them today as they’ll be taking on the United States. Tuesday they’ll be playing against Costa Rica.
Eight teams are playing in the tournament. The top four will advance to the NORCECA Qualification Tournament where the top team will book themselves a spot at the 2016 Olympic Games.
