Support Fort St John News

The Fort St. John Senior Flyers have announced their coaching staff for the upcoming season. Andrew Leriger will take the position of head coach while Craig Ingebrigtson will be on board as an associate coach.

Leriger was with the squad in Fort Nelson when the Flyers won their first Coy Cup championship back in March.

His playing days consisted of stints in Junior A hockey in Calgary and Fort St. John before playing with the Senior Flyers in 1991-1998. Leriger captained the squad for four of those seasons.

Ingebrigtson played in the 1984-85 season with the Huskies and spent the 1985-86 year with the Senior Flyers where he was recognized as the team’s rookie of the year, as well as the Central Peace Hockey League rookie of the year.

The Flyers will open their training camp in early October.
