A power outage on Wednesday afternoon left 1904 customers without electricity – and as BC Hydro investigated, it seemed to have been caused by a bird coming into contact with the wires.
The outage happened near 112th Street and Alaska Road.

Bob Gammer of BC Hydro said he believes it is now less than 10 customers without power, if any.
A separate outage near 112th Avenue and 95th Street is still under investigation.
