Lawyers representing two northeastern B.C. Treaty 8 First Nations will go back before a Judge Thursday to try and stop construction of the Site C Dam.

The Prophet River and Moberly Lake First Nations want the court to issue a stop work order against B.C. Hydro, which has already started land clearing and road building work in the project area.

The hearings were supposed to wrap up Wednesday, but according to the Lawyer with the two first nations, the case will continue Thursday.

It is unknown when the judge will render a decision in the case.
