An incident on Saturday where shots were fired at a vehicle is being investigated by the Fort St. John RCMP as a top priority.

Suspects allegedly used a firearm on a vehicle in a parking lot in the 8500 block of 86th street.

The two people in the car received no injuries, and the suspects took off immediately in their own vehicle – which is described as a ‘newer model greenish-grey GMC crew cab pick-up.’

RCMP believes this is a targeted shooting and that there is no danger to the general public. As well, they suspect it is related to the apartment shooting on Thursday night.

Police are now asking anyone who may have seen the suspects or has information about this case to contact them at 250-787-8100 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
