A Fort St. John RCMP officer is being thanked for his work finding the family of a lost toddler.
Last week, in the early morning, Fort St. John RCMP received a report that a young boy was walking down the street by himself wearing only a shirt and diaper.
Cst. Christopher Pankratz found the toddler, and proceeded to walk the neighbourhood – taking 45 minutes to locate the house where his family lived.
The message was originally sent to the Mayor’s Facebook account, and later posted on the BC RCMP’s thank you page.
Cst. Pankratz could not be reached for a comment.
