Smoke advisory lifted

A wildfire smoke advisory for Fort St. John and surrounding areas has ended.

The Ministry of Environment and Northern Health ended the advisory shortly before noon today saying “pollutant concentrations and the associated health risk are now lower due to changing weather conditions.”

The alert was first issued Friday.
