BC Coroners Service identifies man shot by Dawson Creek RCMP

The BC Coroners Service has identified James Daniel McIntyre as the individual shot and killed by Dawson Creek RCMP in the parking lot of Fixx Urban Grill. McIntyre was 48 years old and a resident of Dawson Creek.

McIntyre was shot at approximately 7:20 p.m. on July 16. He was transported to hospital but passed away from his injuries shortly after arrival.

The BC Coroners Service and the Independent Investigations Office are continuing their investigation.
