This holiday season, all of our Supporters are entered to win an $800 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

The 2015 Calgary Stampede is well underway and some local cowboys are off to a good start.

Ricky Warren of Hudson’s Hope is competing the Novice Saddle Bronc event and after three days of competition, he remains tied for second place with a score of 76.5. There is one more round of the Novice Saddle Bronc Thursday, if Warren can remain in the top 6, he will move onto the final this Saturday.

Then there is Coleman Hunter from Charlie Lake.  Hunter has been competing in the Boys Steer Riding event and has qualified for the final this Friday with a score of 67.50.

Below is a video of his ride earlier this week.

We will post more updates on both cowboys as the week goes by.  If you know of anyone else from the Peace region competing at the Stampede, let us know by emailing
