If you haven’t paid your property taxes, you only have two days left to do so before facing stiff penalties on your bill.
The city will be accepting tax payments until 4:30 p.m. on Thurs., July 2. City Hall will not be open Canada Day.
Anyone who hasn’t received a tax notice should call or drop in to city hall as soon as possible, the city says.
Taxes can be paid with cash or cheque, or through your bank. Credit cards are not accepted.
A 10 per cent penalty will hit all homeowners who pay their taxes after July 2.
