In partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John, CanolaFest, presented by Good Ole’ Dayz will now offer a FREE shuttle service from Fort St. John to Peace Island Park.
The shuttle will leave every 20 minutes starting at 3 p.m. from the Totem Mall and at the end of the day bring you back to your vehicle. You can park your vehicle at the Mall in the westside parking lot near Safeway. Although the shuttle is free, tips are encouraged as all the money will go to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John.
With the event only days away, ticket holders are reminded, although this is an all ages event, alcohol will be served. Make sure to bring proper ID with you as everyone will have their ID checked at the main gate and at the gate into the event grounds.
Ticket holders are also reminded to bring a lawn chair or blanket and proper outdoor gear as the show will go rain or shine. All bags will be searched at the event gate and outside food and drinks are not allowed on site.
For a full list of frequently asked questions, visit www.canolafest.ca and the FAQ section. You can also view a detailed map of the event grounds at our website. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 250-787-7100.
The first year of CanolaFest will feature Canadian Country act the Road Hammers on the Badger Daylighting Main Stage. Plus over 10 musicians from all over the Peace will perform. Plus we have to say a special thank you to our equipment sponsor Peace Country Rentals for helping to provide equipment for the event.
Founding Partners of Canola Fest, Sound in Town and Moose FM, hope to make this an annual event that brings in some of the biggest names in Canadian music and showcases the amazing talent in the B.C. Peace.
