Free Movies in the Park this Saturday in Fort St. John

Troyer Ventures and Shell Canada present Movies in the Park all summer long starting this Saturday June 20.  Once again this year FREE Movies in the Park will happen each month this summer at Centennial Park.

Troyer Ventures and Shell Canada have partnered to put this event on and hope to make it even bigger and better than last year.  This FREE community event will happen once a month from June to August.

The first two movies that will be shown are Kung Fu Panda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp.  The movies will start at 7:00 p.m. on June 20.  On top of the movies, there will be food and of course popcorn being sold by the Watt School of Irish Dance.

On top of this, the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society will be collection donations of non-perishable food items and other supplies for their outreach program.

The next Movies in the Park Dates will be July 10 with the movies The Lego Movie and Night at the Museum.  Then on August 21 we’ll show Penguins of Madagascar and the classic Grease.

On top of Toyer Ventures and Shell Canada, we would also like to thank our sponsors the North Peace Savings and Credit Union, Good Ole’ Dayz, Alta Gas/PNG, Progress Energy, the Fort St. John Co-op, Driving Force and Eaglevision Video Productions.
