Toronto FC says striker Jozy Altidore out 4 to 5 weeks due to hamstring strain

Toronto FC has lost star striker Jozy Altidore for four to five weeks due to a hamstring strain.

Altidore was forced to leave in the 21st minute in Saturday’s 1-1 draw in New England, pulling up after running at goal.

The U.S. international leads the team in scoring with five goals in eight MLS starts. He has six goals in nine appearances in all competitions this season.

Toronto hosts the Portland Timbers on the weekend.
