Prince George Fire Centre battles wild fire near Tumbler Ridge

The Prince George Fire Centre was kept busy on Sunday as they were dealing with a wild fire near Tumbler Ridge. The fire was 45 kilometres east of Tumbler Ridge and has since been contained after being dealt with by an air tanker.

The fire was at one point 15 hectares but was reduced to three hectares before being fully contained.

Prince George Fire Centre spokesperson Jill Kelsh said the cause is under investigation.
