Dawson Creek male arrested for second time after search warrant executed

Dawson Creek RCMP executed a search warrant yesterday at the residence of a 25 year old male. The search turned up a large amount of money as well as stolen firearms and ammunition.

Chance Sandberg has been remanded in custody and charged with 13 counts of failing to comply with a recognizance, possessing firearms while prohibited, possession of property obtained by crime, unsafe storage, and unlawful possession.

Previously Sandberg had been released earlier this year on a $20,000 recognizance and was to follow a number of conditions after an incident in March where police executed another search warrant. That search netted him 15 counts including possessing stolen firearms, and other firearm related offences.
