LONDON — Hull was relegated from the Premier League and Newcastle ensured its survival on the final day of the season.

Leicester celebrated its survival by compounding the misery of Queens Park Rangers with a 5-1 victory over the London club. In a mid-table clash, Crystal Palace beat Swansea 1-0.
