The Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations has announced that mandatory off road vehicle registration has been extended to November 1. The original date was June 1 and the extra time is being provided to give off-road users more time to prepare for the new regulations while details are being finalized on registration and safety.

ICBC will be issuing a sticker that will be available in the fall for those that prefer a sticker instead of a registration plate number.

Full details will be announced early in the fall on implementation for mandatory registration and safety provisions.

Those with off road vehicles are encouraged to register before November 1 as a registered vehicle can be more easily tracked should it be stolen.
