Vancouver Aquarium AquaVan visiting north east communities

Vancouver Aquarium’s AquaVan will be making stops in various north east B.C. communities over the next two weeks. The van packs activities, artifacts, and some marine life such as sea stars on its trips.

Coming on this trip is a brown box crab. The crab has the ability to fold its legs and abdomen together and pull itself tightly so it looks like a box, or a ball.

The travelling schedule for the AquaVan is as follows:

Tumbler Ridge

May 20: Tumbler Ridge Elementary

May 21: Tumbler Ridge Secondary

Farmington

May 22: Parkland Elementary

Groundbirch

May 25: McLeod Elementary

Dawson Creek

May 26: Tremblay Elementary

Fort St. John

May 27: Robert Ogilvie Elementary

May 28: Duncan Cran Elementary
