Snowfall warning continued for:
Fort Nelson, B.C. (088100)
Muncho Lake Park – Stone Mountain Park, B.C. (088200)
Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. A slow moving cold front will push from east to west into the Fort Nelson and Muncho- Stone Mountain Parks regions tonight. As freezing levels fall and cold moist air arrives, snow will develop tonight and continue through Thursday in these regions. The highest snow accumulations are expected on eastward facing slopes and 10-20 cm are expected in the communities of Sikanni Chief and Tetsa River. In Fort Nelson and Muncho Lake communities, accumulation closer to 5 to 10 cm is expected.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
